Current Opening: CNC Operator
Job Summary: Manufacture parts to specification and operate CNC machines (lathes, vertical, or horizontal machining centers).
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, load, and unload machines properly
- Perform operator-level machine maintenance
- Change tooling and bars; set up bar feeder as applicable
- Make insert/tool changes, adjust work-holding components, and apply offsets
- Identify and communicate machine operation or part quality issues
- Maintain proper coolant and lubrication oil levels
- Work from prints, routings, and/or samples to meet quality and production expectations
- Maintain gaging instruments (micrometers, depth mics, comparator, fixed gaging, etc.) to requirements
- Coordinate with department personnel to maximize production and keep set-ups moving
- Record work in E2, maintain documentation, and communicate job status to the department manager
