Current Opening: CNC Operator

Job Summary: Manufacture parts to specification and operate CNC machines (lathes, vertical, or horizontal machining centers).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, load, and unload machines properly
  • Perform operator-level machine maintenance
  • Change tooling and bars; set up bar feeder as applicable
  • Make insert/tool changes, adjust work-holding components, and apply offsets
  • Identify and communicate machine operation or part quality issues
  • Maintain proper coolant and lubrication oil levels
  • Work from prints, routings, and/or samples to meet quality and production expectations
  • Maintain gaging instruments (micrometers, depth mics, comparator, fixed gaging, etc.) to requirements
  • Coordinate with department personnel to maximize production and keep set-ups moving
  • Record work in E2, maintain documentation, and communicate job status to the department manager
